RStudio is a free and open-source integrated development environment (IDE) for R, a programming language for statistical computing and graphics. RStudio makes R easier to use. RStudio includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, as well as tools for plotting, history, debugging and workspace management.

Installation

To install on:

• CAS ITS-supported Dell PCs: Install via Software Center.

• CAS ITS-supported Apple Macs: install via the Self Service app.

• Faculty, Staff, and Student personal laptop or home computer: download and install from https://www.rstudio.com/.
