ArcGIS Pro | Computing for Arts + Sciences

ArcGIS Pro

ArcGIS provides contextual tools for mapping and spatial reasoning so you can explore data and share location-based insights using spatial analytics, mapping and visualization, 3D and real-time GIS, and imagery and remote sensing.

ArcGIS Pro is a "named user" license, which means each individual must be granted access and have an account created for them on the ESRI servers in order to use the software.

Faculty wishing to use ArcGIS Pro should contact Michelle Hurt in GEOG. Students requiring access to ArcGIS Pro should contact their GIS instructor.

ArcGIS is available via the CAS Desktop Streaming service. Faculty who desire their class to have access to ArcGIS via Desktop Streaming should fill out the online request form.

Note that ArcGIS Online is available to UNT Faculty, Staff and Students here: https://unorthtexas.maps.arcgis.com/
