Access Desktop Streaming

Desktop Streaming is a service provided by CAS and ITSS to allow access to a virtual computing environment, including software, desktop, and documents, that can be accessed from anywhere you have internet access.

This is a new service, and any feedback or recommendations are welcome.

Gaining Access to Desktop Streaming

There is limited capacity for Desktop Streaming. Access cannot be granted to users outside of CLASS, CoS, CI, or Mayborn, however your colleges' IT department may have a similar service, please contact your helpdesk for more info.

If you are with G. Brint Ryan College of Business, view their website for information on accessing their Virtual Lab

If you are with College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism, please view their website for information on accessing their Virtual Lab

If your college does not have its own instance of Streaming or Virtual Labs, you may be able to get access to UIT Virtual Stat Lab. Visit their website to request access

For our users, access is granted for either one semester or one academic year, and will be removed at the end of that period unless a new request has been approved.

If you are teaching a course, you can request access for your entire class (login required).

Individual users can request access through our website.
