Desktop Streaming Access Request

⚠ Desktop Streaming is available for beta usage, meaning we're still testing it. We do consider it production ready, but there may be bugs that need to be ironed out. Please report any anomalies to CAS-ITServices@unt.edu.

CAS has Desktop Streaming available for use by faculty, staff, and students of CI, COS, CLASS, and SOJ for instruction use only. This request form is only needed for specific software (e.g. ArcGIS, etc.). Otherwise, Desktop Streaming is avaible without need of a request.

If you're needing software for research purposes, please contact us.

If you are an instructor and would like to request access to specific software for your entire class, please use the other form.

Access Duration

Due to limited availablilty of software licenses, students access will be removed (to just the specific software) after one week following the end of the current semester.

We know many people fall into two (or more) of these categories, but here's the question we need answered: will you be using this system as a faculty member, staff member, or a student? This is important because faculty and staff use this system with their UNT (@unt.edu) account, and students will login with their STUDENTS (@my.unt.edu) account.
Provide a short reason why you want access to Desktop Streaming. Students MUST include what course they are taking and what software you will be using for that course.
Duration is how long you expect to utilize Desktop Streaming. Due to limited availability we require requesting access each academic year at the least.
