Installation

To install on:

• CAS ITS-supported Dell PCs: Install via Software Center
• CAS ITS-supported Apple Macs: Contact Academic Technologies at 940-565-4498.
• Faculty and Staff personal laptop or home computer: follow the instructions on UIT's MATLAB webpage: https://it.unt.edu/matlab-simulink
• Student-owned laptop or home computer: follow the instructions on UIT's MATLAB webpage: http://it.unt.edu/matlab-simulink

Traditionally, faculty and students who install MATLAB on personal devices would create a MathWorks account to associate with our campus license in order to use MATLAB on their personally-owned computer. Now with those same MathWorks accounts, users have access to a web browser based offering of MATLAB called MATLAB Online that runs completely in the web browser and doesn't require installation of additional clients or plug-ins.

MATLAB Online

UNT has added MATLAB Online, which is a cloud-based offering of MATLAB. Visit UIT's MATLAB & Simulink website for instructions on how to get access.
