FAQ
Web Version
UNT Imaging Services recommends using Internet Explorer browser to access the web version of Perceptive Content.
Getting access to appropriate data within Perceptive Content
Access to Perceptive Content is handled by the owners of the documents that you need access to. If you know which documents you need access to, but do not know who to contact, please refer to the Departmental Perceptive Content Contacts List on SharePoint for the appropriate team lead/ACE who can grant you the access to their architecture.
Perceptive Content access requests typically should not be directed to Imaging Services, unless there is an issue with the above SharePoint List.
NTCA_CAS Faculty Files
Issue:
When selecting and using the ImageNow printer it gives the following error:
Could not find an application window that matches the 'NTCA_CAS Faculty Files' application plan.
Resolution:
The user will need to have the Workforce Modify page open in Internet Explorer with the Imaging tab active.
Perceptive Content EP4 is installed, but can't connect to server
There's a script that is supposed to automatically update the Perceptive Content Connection Profiles "Server ID" to the new server URL. That script is currently advertised to our Test deployments as package: Perceptive Content EP4 Update Server Info (NT100B84) - shows up in Software Center as "Perceptive Content EP4 Update Server Info - Perceptive Content EP4 Config Files" - it runs a simple Powershell script to detect if the imagenow.ini file contains the old server "perpd.its.ad.unt.edu" and if so, change it to "pcpd.east.untsystem.edu"
It's easy enough to Edit/Modify the existing Connection Profile (the Connection Profile name doesn't matter, but "Default" "Production" and "UNT" are common profile names) in the Perceptive Content app itself and make sure the Server ID is:
- pcpd.east.untsystem.edu (Port 6000)
