AlternaTIFF is a web browser add-on (ActiveX control or plug-in) that displays most of the common types of TIFF (.tif) image files. It works in most web browsers for Windows XP and higher (Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 in desktop mode, etc.).

Installation

To install on:

• CAS ITS-supported Dell PCs: Install via Software Center

• Faculty and Staff personal laptops and home computers: download and install from the AlternaTIFF website.

• Student-owned laptops and home computers: download and install from the AlternaTIFF website.
