Supported macOS Versions
Currently, AT supports the following macOS versions:
- 13.0 Ventura The latest OS and currently the goal for any device that supports it.
- 12.0 Monterey Most of our fleet is using Monterey, we should be moving these to ventura where possible and work toward an N-1 OS posture.
- 11.0 Big Sur Support for Big Sur is ending with 2023, recommendations to upgrade will come to anyone still using this OS in 2024.
The recommended supported version of macOS is the version that CAS will install when setting up or restoring your Mac, as long as the hardware is able to support it. In the future, we will support new releases of macOS within 90 days.
macOS Life Cycle
Apple releases new versions of macOS on an annual basis, starting with an announcement in June.
