Henry Gwyn Jeffreys Moseley
1887-1915
He was an English physicist who discovered the relationship between the atomic number of an element and the frequency of its X-ray spectrum. On the basis of his work a truly numerical periodic table could be constructed. He was killed in World War I at the age of 27. | ||
