Antoine-Alexandre-Brutus Bussy

	He was a professor of chemistry at the École de Pharmacie in Paris, France, who prepared magnesium by reacting its salts with metallic potassium to obtain a fused form of the metal. This method was patterned by many others in the preparation of various metallic elements.
