Previous | Home | NextThe "Bridge of Lies" (Podul Minciunilor) is beside the pharmaceutical museum. According to legend, the bridge will collapse if someone stands on it and tells a lie. However, as the story goes, atop the bridge the unpopular dictator Ceausescu (1918-1989) gave a speech typically full of his political fabrications and nothing happened (until his execution by firing squad in the Revolution of 1989).
