Here is a sample of elemental tellurium from the famous Fascebanyá (Fața Băii), the original mine where tellurium was discovered. The tellurium is composed of the shiny particles sprinkled about the matrix. The label is written in German, "Tellur gedieg[en] Fascebaj." "Gediegen" means "pure" or "native." "Fascebaj" was one of the many variants of "Fascebanyá."
