Freiberg, Germany/freiberg206Previous | Home | NextThis layout is the buildings of the Freiberg Akademie building complex. "A" is the Akademiestraße Entrance (Akademiestraße 6 address), sometimes known as the "Opel'sches Haus" (Opel's house). "E" is the "Nonnengasse Entrance" (Nonnengasse 22 address), formerly the "main mining office." "F" is the Prüferstraße Entrance (Prüferstraße 9 address). "D" is the Lampadius Building; its skewed orientation with respect to the other buildings is preserved to this day. The other buildings are associated annexes which were built and developed throughout the years; for example, "C" was a previous malt-house, later developed into storage and a library.
