Walking north along Bahnhofstraße (Railway street), 500 meters north of the RR Station, one finds this building and monument (map 3), both associated with the Kuhschacht Mine. This mine was a prolific provider of silver, and also furnished the nickel ore that Cronsted {LINK: Los 009}in Sweden used to characterize nickel. The view is southward.
