This is ESPCI, the École Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielles -- which was originally called l'École Municipale de Physique et Chimie Industrielles (Municipal School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry), or commonly just l'École de Physique et Chimie Industrielles (EPCI), where the Curies did their famous research. The modern name (ESPCI) was adopted in 1948. The original school was founded in 1882. This is the north side of the school, on Rue Pierre Brossolette (continuation of Rue Érasme). The view is south.
