Previous | Home | NextNew College, on Dawson Street (now Mosley Street), is where Dalton was a tutor 1793-1800, and had his lodgings there 1793-1798; and just to the west was the Mechanics Institution (1825-1857). The building are gone; a public garden remains in their stead, on the back side of the Town Hall. See next photo.
