This is the layout of the laboratory complex where the uranium fission experiment was performed. The Bestrahlungsraum ("radiation room," upper left) is where uranium was subjected to uranium bombardment. The sample was taken to "Hahns Privatlabor" (Hahn's private laboratory, lower) for analysis, where barium was detected. For orientation purposes, note the cupola (round room) at the far right.
