Previous | Home | NextThis is a photo of Pierre and Marie Curie, after their wedding ceremony in 1895. They used their bicycles to tour the French countryside during their honeymoon. This photograph was taken in front of the house of Pierre's parents. Renovation of the house has occurred, but the similarity of the windows and shutters is apparent. Marie's bicycle now rests in her museum in Warsaw, Poland {LINK: Warsaw Poland}.
