With the passing of the Victorian era, the old chemistry similarly entered the new age of chemistry with its atomic structure, transmutations, and nuclear energy. This statue is located in front of the music building (Schulich School of Music, Strathcona Music Building, 555 Sherbrooke Street West, N45 20.34 W73 34.39), half a block north of the Otto Maas Chemistry Building.
