Mailman: Approve Messages Before Sending Them Out

  1. Login to the Mailman management web site for your list
  2. Click Privacy Options > Sender filters
  3. Set By default, should new list member postings be moderated? to Yes
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click the Submit your changes button
  5. Click General Options
  6. Make sure your email address is listed in the The list moderator email addresses. field. If not, add it, scroll down and click the Submit your changes button
  7. Click Membership Management > Membership List
  8. Scroll down and click the radio button next to On for Set everyone's moderation bit, including those members not currently visiblethen click Set
