CLEAR notified faculty earlier this summer about this change and wants to ensure you know that any faculty or staff member may use this software for more than just classroom teaching. I.e., you can host on-line group meetings of any sort (research, administrative, instructive, etc.).

Who may use GoToMeeting and GoToTraining?
Although we anticipate the primary users of this tool will be faculty, GoToTraining and GoToMeeting are also available to UNT staff in departments that want to use the tools for training sessions.
Can I continue to access my current Wimba or Collaborate recordings?
If faculty wish to keep any recordings that they have made on Wimba or Collaborate from past meetings, they will need to download those recordings as MP3 or MP4 files before August 15, 2014. Instructions are provided here: [ include URL ]. They may contact the CLEAR Faculty Helpdesk at 940-369-7394 for assistance walking through this process.
What about my pre-scheduled/recurring Wimba and Collaborate sessions?
Yes. If faculty have future scheduled or recurring meetings/trainings already scheduled under your Collaborate or Wimba account, they will need to schedule those in GoToMeeting and/or GoToTraining, and update any Outlook Meeting Invitations with the new GoTo session information. Collaborate and Wimba accounts will be shut down on August 15, 2014.
How can I learn to use this product?
Although we think users will find these new web conferencing products easy to use without training, Citrix is providing training especially for UNT on the following dates:
